弟兄們、我還有話說．我們靠著主耶穌求你們、勸你們、你們既然受了我們的教訓、知道該怎樣行、可以討 神的喜悅、就要照你們現在所行的、更加勉勵。你們原曉得我們憑主耶穌傳給你們甚麼命令。 神的旨意就是要你們成為聖潔、遠避淫行． 要你們各人曉得怎樣用聖潔尊貴、守著自己的身體． 不放縱私慾的邪情、像那不認識 神的外邦人．
Finally then, brothers and sisters, we ask you and urge you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received instruction from us about how you must live and please God (as you are in fact living) that you do so more and more. For you know what commands we gave you through the Lord Jesus. For this is God’s will: that you become holy, that you keep away from sexual immorality, that each of you know how to possess his own body in holiness and honor, not in lustful passion like the Gentiles who do not know God.
