Jeremiah 11:21 “…concerning the men of Anathoth, who seek your life, saying, ‘Do not prophesy in the name of the Lord, so that you will not die at our hand’…”
Jeremiah asks: “Righteous are You, O Lord, that I would plead my case with You; Indeed I would discuss matters of justice with You: Why has the way of the wicked prospered? Why are all those who deal in treachery at ease?” Jeremiah 12:1
God answers: “If you have run with footmen and they have tired you out, Then how can you compete with horses? If you fall down in a land of peace, how will you do in the thicket of the Jordan?” Jeremiah 12:5
耶利米書 11:21 所以， 耶和華論到尋索你命的亞拿突人如此說：他們說：你不要奉耶和華的名說預言，免得你死在我們手中。
耶和華啊，我與你爭辯的時候，你顯為義；但有一件，我還要與你理論：惡人的道路為何亨通呢？大行詭詐的為何得安逸呢？耶利米書 12:1
耶和華說：你若與步行的人同跑，尚且覺累，怎能與馬賽跑呢？你在平安之地，雖然安穩，在約但河邊的叢林要怎樣行呢？耶利米書 12:5
