栽种的和浇灌的都是一样。但将来各人要照自己的工夫，得自己的赏赐。 因为我们是与神同工的。你们是神所耕种的田地，所建造的房屋。 我照神所给我的恩，好像一个聪明的工头，立好了根基，有别人在上面建造。只是各人要谨慎怎样在上面建造。 因为那已经立好的根基，就是耶稣基督，此外没有人能立别的根基。 若有人用金，银，宝石，草木，禾楷，在这根基上建造。 各人的工程必然显露。因为那日子要将它表明出来，有火发现。这火要试验各人的工程怎样。 人在那根基上所建造的工程，若存得住，他就要得赏赐。 人的工程若被烧了，他就要受亏损。自己却要得救。虽然得救乃像从火里经过的一样。
The one who plants and the one who waters work as one, but each will receive his reward according to his work. We are coworkers belonging to God. You are God’s field, God’s building. According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master-builder I laid a foundation, but someone else builds on it. And each one must be careful how he builds. For no one can lay any foundation other than what is being laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, each builder’s work will be plainly seen, for the Day will make it clear, because it will be revealed by fire. And the fire will test what kind of work each has done. If what someone has built survives, he will receive a reward. If someone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss. He himself will be saved, but only as through fire.
